Hi, I'm Andrew, a Charlotte native, lifelong aviation enthusiast, and the one-man operation behind Local Lift Flight Co.
I was thirteen years old the first time I left the ground in a glider. No engine, just wind and lift and I was completely hooked. Growing up just outside of Lincolnton, flying was never a far-off dream. It was always right here over these same hills and tree lines I'd looked up at my whole life.
That first flight set everything in motion. I went on to train at ATP Flight School, where I earned every certificate and rating from Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII and MEI. ATP's rigorous, professional approach shaped the way I think about instruction: precise, intentional, and built on real standards.
As an independent instructor, I have the freedom to make your training truly yours. The schedule, the pace, and the plan are built around your goals, not a standardized program designed for someone else. Whether you've never touched a yoke or you're working toward your instrument or commercial certificate, we'll build something that works for you.
We fly a Piper PA-28-181 Archer III out of Lincoln County Regional Airport, a proven, capable trainer with both classic steam gauges and modern Garmin glass avionics. My goal is to make sure you leave every lesson a more confident, capable pilot.
